Kinds of files I've given you : 1) fits files -- all called *.fits, need a fits file reader of your choice, suggest using ds9; see the wiki for more, e.g., http://coolwiki.ipac.caltech.edu/index.php/How_can_I_make_a_color_composite_image_using_Spitzer_and/or_other_data%3F 2) ps files -- all called *.ps, open using native windows application or Mac Preview 3) and a bunch of other ones with different extensions, all of which are in the end SIMPLE PLAIN TEXT files, so if your computers complains about opening any of them, just change the filename by adding an extension ".txt" to them, and Windows should open them in WordPad, NotePad, or any of a variety of plain text editors; Macs will open them in TextEdit.
