I love Astronomy and Earth Science and I am lucky enough to teach these two subjects at Walter Payton high school in Chicago.
I am very excited to be part of this research team. I think of the world in images so it always helps me to see pictures of the part of the sky we are studying.
This image is the IC1396, a huge nebula in the constellation Cepheus, in the northern sky. It shows the location of BRC 34 & 38.
This is a closeup of BRC 38. I read a lot about this BRC, so I feel a special connection to it!! It is located near the constellations of the winter circle, in the southern sky.
