About Me
I am a sophomore studying engineering mechanics at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I have always been interested in math and science, and am very excited to do research as a part of the NITARP program.
What I've Done So Far
Source Matching
Our group has been reviewing the findings of Ogura et. al. and Wiramihardja et. al. We have compared the Young Stellar Objects (YSOs) found in these to the 2MASS catalog to verify or correct the coordinates within them. We will then compare these results with the results of other pieces of research to see how they differ and where they overlap. To do this work we used the gator (found here) and the finder chart (found here [1]) to locate and verify YSO locations.
