Carl Sagan has had a profound influence on me professionally and personally. Even postuhumously, he has taught (and continues to teach) me the real nature of the universe and the fragility of life. |

I'm 17 years old and I attend Walter Payton College Prep. Ever since I was a curious two-year-old I knew that I wanted to work in the field of astronomy. I feel extremely fortunate to be a part of this group since I have never had the chance to do concrete research and get an authentic exposure to this area of study. Carl Sagan has had a profound influence on me professionally and personally. Even postuhumously, he has taught (and continues to teach) me the real nature of the universe and the fragility of life.
