Viv's Section

This section is where I am going to log activity. Practiced with APT tool to analyze some images of a star cluster NGC6802. Kyle and I looked up reference stars from literature and I got the counts of the B and V images and then put the results in an Excel spreadsheet I created to get the apparent magnitude of 7 target stars in the image. I grouped and named pictures that were taken during NITARP. Still need to reduce sizes and upload to Luisa's site and to some wiki pages to explain what we did when we were at Caltech. Today I am going to study DS9 strategies for making color composites.
