I would like each of you to create your own practice page. Watch your spelling, remember these pages are open to the public.

These instructions below are if you want to create a new page. You start on an existing page then follow these directions. You already have a page (linked to your name above).

  1. Click on the edit tab above
  2. Put your cursor at the top of this page
  3. Find the button above that will create an Internal Link and click it
  4. Replace the words Link Title with your own name
  5. Scroll down and click save.
  6. You now have your own page, just click on your name and it will open.

  1. click the embed button, give your image a specific name
    1. instead of File:Example.jpg I used Phoenix.jpg
  2. after you save the page, click on the name of your image and the wiki will allow you to upload the actual image

File Link

  1. click the file link button, give your file a specific name
    1. instead of Media:Example.ogg I used File:Joey APT 2.xls
  2. after you save the page, click on the name of your file and the wiki will allow you to upload the actual file


External Link

  1. click on external link
  2. replace the example with your link, replace the link title with what you want to call your link
    1. instead of link title I used http://www.wpcp.org, Walter Payton College Prep along with the name i wanted linked (Walter Payton College Prep) separated by a comma to make this link:Walter Payton College Prep


Heading

  1. click the level 2 heading button
  2. replace the words between the equal signs with your heading
  3. each additional equal sign means a lower level of heading
  4. put headings between each of the things you have created
